Happy birthday, Olive!
Oh, depth over distance
Every time, my dear
And, I may be foolish to fall as I do
Still, there's strength in the blindness you fear
If you're coming, too
“Of course I did— I had to listen that stupid stories all the time when we were on the island. Shane didn’t shut his mouth for any second,” Rebekah admitted, rolling her eyes just a little when she remembered on that creep island and everything what they did for nothing.
Rebekah turned her blue sight back at the doppelganger, tilting her head to side while she was listening her, “Well, not that I want insult you, but— We all know that you aren´t, Katherine.”
“— Something is telling me that you know it.”
Oh, of course. Katherine had almost forgotten of their little trek she trailed, retrieving the cure from right under their noses. The truth is, she caught up to their simple plan in a heartbeat; it was just one snippet of all things quickly unfolded.
Though, being in the company of an Original who wanted so desperately to take what she snatched, she concluded the topic was best not divulged into.
❝Hm— I do,❞ she shrugged, innocently to the blonde’s final statement.

❝What happened to him, any way; Shane?❞
I have a sneaking suspicion that it may be somebody’s birthday today?

No, no— it is! And, I’m taking this opportunity to let everyone know, and because I’m feeling quite poetic today. Lmao, not really. However, I would like to wish a lovely friend a delightful day and year, for that matter!
The person, in particular, (let’s see if you can guess) that I’m referring to can only be described as a wonderfully talented writer that I am always so glad to have the pleasure of writing alongside. And, I have for a whole year now, oh my, and I still get all excited! I feel like her character creativity, alongside all the other measures of her creativity, is just off the scale, though— seriously.
But, if you haven’t guessed it’s Olivia! (I would tag but which blog, aaah?)
I’m not a photoshop user, I can’t send you a cake. But, I thought I’d leave a heartfelt message wishing you all the best, because you’re great and you keep me entertained and educated about all kinds of cultural things, which I adore.
Sending love from across the pond,
Your little foreign friend, Hannah.
P.S— YOU GET ME, BRUV?
| darlingdoppelganger Heya! Just wanted to ask, how do you do those bold speech marks? Please help me out and may I say, you are my idol! I love your roleplaying work! |
Hiya! I wouldn’t usually post this publicly, but I’ve received this question a few times, now. So, I thought I’d use your message to announce my answer; I hope that’s alright!
As far as I know, they’re not coded. I, personally, just copy and paste the speech marks as symbols (❝ and ❞). Perhaps, that’s the wrong way? But, I honestly don’t have any fancy secret to using them… I kinda wish I did, haha.
But, thank you so much, I couldn’t think of a nicer a comment to receive, here. I’m usually at a loss for words at this kind of thing, so yeah… I apologise. But, it means a lot; it really does. I really appreciate the compliment!
“— Katherine.” Russet optics flickering upon the vixen’s stature, the twisted curvature elicited an exasperated exhale to vibrate across her shoulder blades. Clad in only Damon’s button up, slender limbs rested at a standstill, conflagration educing shadows to define the brims of a jaw line. “How is this not a surprise?”
A shrug wrapped over her shoulders, despite the sharp-tongued words that followed; executed almost as a reflex. ❝Probably because I didn’t plan for it to be.❞

As far as she was concerned, she could’ve easily made a shocking appearance, though that wasn’t the angle she was after.
Always reluctant to hand away information without a cost, Katherine left her response at that. Arms folding, as she wasn’t shy to make her dislike of sharing company with her doppelgänger prudent.
| asktatia {Kisses lips} Pass this on to the next five people on your dash. |

❝You’re making things weird.❞
Had it not been for the temporary shell— she’d happily disregard— Katherine had essentially just been kissed by a version of herself. Honestly, she wasn’t fond.
